Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in bookkeeping and payroll, and working with numerous clients and supporting their accounting functions. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, income taxes, payroll, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Quickbooks Desktop. Duties Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions Process accounts payable, including invoice verification, data entry, and timely payments Maintain organized financial records and reconcile accounts regularly Assist with preparing financial reports and statements in accordance with company policies and accounting standards Support month-end and year-end closing procedures Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures Utilize Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, to analyze financial data and prepare reports Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements Utilize Quickbooks Desktop and Quickbooks Online for clients Knowledge of income taxes and have prepared income taxes previously. Skills Proven experience in accounting and finance roles, with a solid understanding of accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting Experience with accounts payable processes and bookkeeping practices Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate across departments Knowledge of relevant accounting software is a plus This position offers an opportunity for dedicated professionals to contribute to a dynamic organization while developing their accounting expertise. Pay:
$45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
