Job Description Position Title:
Senior Accountant Wage:
Based on Experience We are partnering with a well-established manufacturer in Browntown, WI to hire a Sr. Accountant for a full-time, direct hire, fully onsite opportunity. This role is a key member of the plant finance team, working closely with leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, analysis, and operational support. This position reports to the Controller. Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain weekly cash flow forecasts
  • Produce and distribute monthly financial reports related to plant performance
  • Support month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintain fixed asset and tooling ledgers
  • Assist with and participate in internal and external audits
  • Participate in quarterly physical inventory processes
  • Support accounts receivable activities, including customer invoicing and cash application (backup support)
  • Provide backup support for accounts payable, including vendor invoices and payment processing
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in financial operations Requirements for
Senior Accountant:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit support
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
