As they continue to grow, they are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to support their financial operations, accounting processes, and business reporting. Position Summary The Staff Accountant will play a key role in maintaining the company's day-to-day financial operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a blend of accounting, bookkeeping, data management, and business analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger support, financial reporting, and assisting with financial modeling and business planning initiatives. This role will work closely with company leadership and have visibility into all aspects of the business. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Bookkeeping Process accounts payable and vendor payments. Manage accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, and customer account reconciliation. Perform daily and monthly data entry into accounting and ERP systems. Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and balance sheet accounts. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation. Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations. Financial Operations Support cash flow management and reporting. Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes. Maintain vendor and customer records. Coordinate with external CPA firms, auditors, and tax professionals. Financial Analysis & Modeling Build and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making. Analyze profitability by product line, customer, and project. Prepare management reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking. Support pricing, forecasting, and growth planning initiatives. Assist leadership with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects. Business Administration Help maintain corporate records and compliance documentation for the LLC. Support annual filings, business registrations, and other administrative requirements. Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications Required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field. 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or finance experience. Strong understanding of AP, AR, reconciliations, and general accounting principles. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar accounting software. Experience in manufacturing, wholesale distribution, product-based businesses, or project accounting. Financial modeling and forecasting experience. Understanding of inventory accounting and cost accounting. CPA track or accounting certification is a plus.
