and the Staff Accountant plays a key role in keeping our books accurate, audit-ready, and on time.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We're looking for a Staff Accountant to support our accounting and financial reporting functions
from journal entries and reconciliations to month-end close
helping keep our financial information accurate and reliable as we continue to grow.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Prepare and post journal entries, and maintain and investigate general ledger account activity
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
Process and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and company bank deposits
Support preparation of financial statements and management reports
File and monitor tax reporting requirements, and maintain audit-ready accounting records
Track purchase orders and reconcile company credit card accounts
WHAT YOU BRING
Must-haves:
1-3 years of accounting experience preferred
2-year accounting or business degree with 1-2 years of related experience, or a 4-year accounting degree
Working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail
Nice-to-haves:
Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Experience supporting fixed asset accounting
