Job Description Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a Accountant for a contract opportunity. This role is responsible for supporting bank reconciliation processes and ensuring accurate tracking of financial transactions. The position focuses on reconciling general ledger (GL) accounts to bank activity, helping maintain accurate financial records and a strong control environment. Key Responsibilities + Perform daily and monthly reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial systems involving high volumes of transactions + Identify, investigate, and resolve both routine and complex variances to maintain accurate financial reporting + Review bank reconciliations for completeness and accuracy, and provide guidance to support consistent processes + Analyze bank activity and general ledger data to identify opportunities to strengthen controls and improve efficiency + Research and resolve system and accounting discrepancies in collaboration with relevant teams + Maintain and apply business rules within the bank reconciliation system + Prepare financial and analytical reports to support regulatory requirements and operational needs + Participate in cross-functional initiatives, including product and system implementation projects + Collaborate with team members to balance workload and support shared goals Qualifications + Experience in bank reconciliations, accounting, or financial operations + Understanding of general ledger processes and financial controls + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume workloads + Effective communication and collaboration skills The base range for this contract position is $15.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
