We assess our clients' current financial situation to tailor a unique solution that aligns with their desired outcomes and objectives. Our high-touch service is backed by institutional strength, allowing us to deeply invest in our clients' financial success and execute with swift, discerning confidence. The Investment Accountant is responsible for all aspects of accounting, reporting, and reconciliation of investment portfolios. This role requires an understanding of investment strategies, portfolio accounting, and data reconciliation. Key Responsibilities Work with the internal team and Envestnet Tamarac (portfolio accounting system) to develop procedures and guidelines for portfolio accounting. Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly reconciliation of portfolio positions against custodian and outside investments. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between internal systems, custodians, fund sponsors, and counterparties. Reconcile cash and market valuations across multiple accounts and platforms. Maintain reconciliation controls and document exception resolutions with proper audit trails. Monitor stale or missing prices and coordinate resolution with advisors and portfolio managers. Partner with portfolio managers, traders, and advisors to ensure accurate data for reporting. Liaise with tax and compliance on regulatory requirements and reporting obligations. Utilize technology to make improvements to accounting systems, workflows, and processes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field required; CPA designation preferred 3+ years applicable work experience Strong knowledge of accounting and investments Exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills Experience with Envestnet/Tamarac preferred, but not required Excellent relationship building skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues and vendors Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Compensation and Benefits Competitive base salary, plus participation in the annual bonus pool Health, Dental and Vision Insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) Commuter Plan 401(k) plan with employer match
