Senior Accountant Location:
Madison, WI Pay:

Opportunity to make an immediate impact in a key accounting role supporting a growing organization. Work directly with leadership and cross-functional teams in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Gain broad exposure to financial operations and contribute to important business initiatives. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly financial statements, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Manage general ledger activities and support month-end and year-end close processes. Analyze financial results and provide insights to support operational and strategic decision-making. Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company financial policies. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, audit preparation, and financial reporting activities. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiencies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting and general ledger responsibilities. Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices. Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments. CPA certification or progress toward certification is a plus.
