Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401(k), Paid holidays Summary Connect Search is hiring an Accountant in Port Washington Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and month end closing activities. Perform monthly account reconciliations and investigate variances. Assist with the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Support financial statement preparation and management reporting. Assist with cost accounting analysis, inventory accounting, and manufacturing related reporting. Analyze production and operational costs to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Support inventory reconciliations and physical inventory processes. Partner with the accounting team to improve and streamline accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial processes. Participate in ERP system enhancements, automation projects, and technology initiatives. Help document, update, and improve accounting procedures and internal controls. Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Assist with cash flow forecasting and liquidity management. Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business decision making. Assist with annual audits and coordinate requests from external auditors. Support compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls. Help maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
