Extension is seeking a Senior Accountant for a Direct Hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Ripon, WI . Competitive benefits package and long-term career growth opportunities. Key Objectives / Role Responsibilities Prepare monthly journal entries and support the month-end close process. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain the accuracy of financial records and reporting. Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including cash reconciliations and vendor invoice coding. Assist with external audits by preparing schedules, gathering supporting documentation, and responding to auditor requests. Support accounting projects, process improvements, and system conversions or enhancements. Desired Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience. Public accounting experience or experience within a publicly traded manufacturing company preferred. Strong understanding of US GAAP. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs. Experience with QuickBooks Online and SAP is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
