Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities across general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
- Prepare monthly and periodic financial statements and help ensure reporting is completed accurately and on schedule.
- Lead month-end close tasks, including reviewing balances, recording adjustments, and finalizing supporting documentation.
- Create and post journal entries to reflect routine and non-routine business transactions.
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
- Complete bank reconciliations and resolve outstanding items in a timely manner.
- Partner with operational teams to support accounting processes and improve financial visibility across the business. Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in senior-level accounting or general accounting roles.
- Strong knowledge of month-end close procedures and general ledger management.
- Proficiency in preparing and posting journal entries with a high degree of accuracy.
- Hands-on experience with account reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
- Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Ability to prepare financial statements and analyze supporting financial data.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
