Job Description
Required:
Experience in monthly financial statement preparations and general accounting; effective computer, analytical, organizational, and customer skills.Experience with computer spreadsheets and word processing. BS in Accounting.
Desired:
One to two years of accounting experience preferred,Responsibilities:
Prepare journal entries including journal entry support.Prepare various monthly bank and account reconciliations.
Reconcile bank accounts associated with claims and other expenses funding third party administrative services clients.
Assist with various audit preparations.
Maintain fixed asset register including depreciation, additions, disposals, and gains/losses on sale of fixed assets.
Monthly processing of external commissions and statements.
Ensure that multi state regulatory filings/deadlines are consistently achieved.
Assist treasury with maintaining daily/weekly cashflow forecast schedules.
Provide financial operations support/backup to CDS division. Perform additional tasks and undertake specific projects as assigned to support Senior Accountants. 8:00am - 5:00pm40
