Founded in 1988 by a local native, MDI Rock remains proudly locally owned and has grown to become the largest locally owned landscape supply company in the area. Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Bookkeeper/Employee Administrator to join our team. This vital role combines core bookkeeping responsibilities with employee administrative support, ensuring smooth financial operations and efficient office management. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong technical accounting skills, excellent organization, and a proactive attitude to support our company's growth. Responsibilities Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including bank reconciliations, and journal entries using SAP Business One ERP Perform general ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial statements . Onboarding & Offboarding, manage new-hire documents, orientations, and exit process. Maintain detailed records of financial transactions, including account analysis and account reconciliation Prepare financial reports, budgets, and supporting documentation for internal review or external audits Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently Support employee administrative functions such as maintaining personnel records including compliance reporting with Federal DOT and MSHA. Experience Hands-on experience with ERP Systems such as SAP Knowledge of corporate accounting practices. Familiarity with payroll processing, tax experience, and account reconciliation procedures Ability to work with spreadsheets for data analysis and financial report writing Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and technical accounting concepts Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; proficiency in 10-key typing and bank reconciliation processes Prior experience in general ledger reconciliation, journal entries, account analysis, budgeting, and financial report preparation is highly desirable Join us to be a key player in maintaining accurate financial records while supporting our team's administrative needs. Pay:
$25.00 - $32.00 per hour
