Full Job Description Position Title:
Accounting Team Leader ■
General Responsibilities :
Lead and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end/year-end closing. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Coordinate closely with the Korean headquarters on financial reporting, accounting matters, and corporate requirements. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies. Manage account reconciliations, financial analysis, and internal accounting controls. Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and other financial planning activities. Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audits, tax-related matters, and compliance requirements. Support IPO-related accounting, financial reporting, audits, and internal control processes , as applicable. Supervise and provide guidance to accounting team members while improving accounting processes and operational efficiency. ■
Qualifications :
10+ years of professional accounting experience required , including strong hands-on experience in financial accounting and reporting. Previous experience working directly with a Korean headquarters or Korean parent company required. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong knowledge of financial statements, month-end/year-end closing, account reconciliation, and internal controls. Experience in manufacturing accounting or the automotive industry preferred. IPO or public-company accounting experience highly preferred. Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with both U.S. operations and Korean headquarters. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems. ■
