Job Description
Responsibilities:
Supervise, mentor, and coach the accounting staff. Experience with handling robust books and preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements. Book and process client payroll on a recurring basis. Maintaining accurate General Ledger/Trial Balances. Onboard new clients, set up new vendors and General Ledger codes in the accounting system (AgilLink). Record opening Trial Balance as journal entries, prepare, and reconcile bank statements. Record purchase or refinance of client's automobiles/residence. Maintain cash flow and reporting requests for clients. Provide backup coverage for other Account Executives as needed. Process Accounts Payable and Cash Receipts when the Account Executive is out. Coordinate and complete client loan applications and collaborate with Senior Accountant for final review. Provide accurate asset schedules for insurance. Work closely with Tax department to ensure clean and accurate books. Ensure that tax deadlines (1099s, estimated payments) are met timely. Create commission reconciliation schedules for non-touring clients. Other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook Self-motivated with excellent organization skills Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is an asset Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Exceptional interpersonal skills Friendly and professional demeanor Ability to work well with a team and pitch in when needed High School diploma required Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred 4 plus years of experience in accounting, business management, and/or working with high-net-worth individuals 1 plus years of experience working in AgilLink, Datafaction, and/or QuickBooks preferred Proficiency inMicrosoft Office Benefits:
