Accounting Supervisor

A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to support day-to-day accounting operations across AP, AR, and general accounting functions within a multi-entity environment. This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the Controller and offers the opportunity to help strengthen accounting processes, support operational improvements, and contribute to a company currently undergoing significant growth and modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate is hands-on, solutions-oriented, adaptable, and eager to grow into broader leadership responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support daily Accounts Payable activities, including invoice processing, approvals, accruals, and three-way matching Assist with general accounting responsibilities including bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close support Oversee AP and AR team workflow and provide day-to-day guidance across accounting operations Support inventory-related accounting and reconciliation activities between multiple divisions and ERP systems Ensure timely invoice posting and proper accrual handling when invoices are pending Help improve processes, strengthen controls, and support ongoing accounting infrastructure development Partner closely with the Controller on operational and accounting initiatives Assist with cross-functional communication between accounting, operations, and plant teams

Qualifications:

5+ years of accounting and accounts payable experience required Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred Strong understanding of accounting principles, AP processes, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end procedures Experience within manufacturing or inventory-based environments highly preferred Experience working with ERP systems such as Sage, Dynamics/Navision, or similar platforms preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred Strong attitude, adaptability, accountability, and willingness to learn are critical for success
