Position Summary Pinpoint is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Coordinator to support day-to-day accounting operations on a part-time basis (approximately 24 hours per week, three days per week: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday). This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth administrative and accounting workflows. Reporting to and supporting the Accounting Manager, the Accounting Coordinator will assist with accounts payable processing, purchase order verification, monthly expense reporting, and related accounting tasks using QuickBooks and our internal project management system. In addition to accounting responsibilities, this role will provide general office support, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and handling inbound and outbound mail as needed. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Verify invoices against purchase orders, receipts, and supporting documentation Enter and maintain financial data in QuickBooks and internal systems Process accounts payable transactions and support vendor communications Support month-end close activities, including data preparation and reporting Track expenses and process reimbursements accurately and on schedule Identify, research, and resolve discrepancies in financial records Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation and files Communicate status updates, deadlines, and issues with the accounting supervisor Provide occasional administrative support as needed, including front desk coverage and handling outgoing and returned packages Candidate Profile Who You Are This role fits someone who takes pride in accuracy, consistency, and keeping things organized. Experience & Expertise 2-5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, or related administrative finance role Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting systems Experience with accounts payable, expense tracking, and basic reconciliations Ability to verify, organize, and maintain accurate financial records Familiarity with invoices, purchase orders, receipts, and vendor documentation Comfortable working with spreadsheets and basic reporting tools (Excel, Google Sheets) Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors or inconsistencies Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Clear and professional communication skills (verbal and written) Preferred Experience in a manufacturing, construction, fabrication, or project-based environment Exposure to month-end close processes and general ledger support Experience with internal project management systems or job costing Knowledge of basic accounting principles (debits/credits, accruals, etc.) Experience supporting both accounting and general administrative functions Job Essentials Ability to perform the essential duties of the role with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to work on-site in an office environment Ability to sit, use a computer, and perform data entry for extended periods Ability to manage confidential financial and company information responsibly Clean, valid driver's license with reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check
