Job Description

Our client, a growing company located in Fort lauderdale is looking for an accounting assistant to join their team!
Purpose:
Assist the daily operations of the accounting department, including:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Reconciliations•Bank, Credit Card, Cash & Merchant sales. Accounts Payable. Accounts Recevilable. Knoweldge of Accrual Accounting. Preparing Weekly bank deposits. Administrative duties•Answering phones, filing, maintaining the cleanliness of the office & greeting clients/visitors.
Required Education & Experience:
Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. Entry level Accounting/Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper Experience•2+ years required Ability to prepare routine accounting & administrative paperwork. Proven Knowledge of bookkeeping & accounting principles. Skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel•Pivot Tables, Lookups, 2 & 3 wat matching, Etc. Skill in the use of computerized spreadsheets, relational databases, and word-processing software. Previous QuickBooks experience is highly desired &/or previous ERP knowledge is highly required What we are looking for: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong financial and mathematic abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong time management and organizational abilities. Can commute on-site daily•Not a remote opportunity
