Monday-FridayPay:
$22.00/hour to start with potential increase to $25-$26/hour upon permanent hire after 6 monthsAbout the OpportunityWe are seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to join a growing finance team supporting high-volume billing, invoicing, and accounting operations. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in accounting, billing, accounts receivable, financial reconciliation, or contract-based invoicing who are looking for an opportunity to grow into a long-term position.

This position offers hands-on involvement with billing operations, account reconciliations, financial reporting support, and cross-functional collaboration with operations and accounting teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client-related billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual requirements
  • Review expense data and supporting documentation to validate billing accuracy
  • Research and resolve billing discrepancies by partnering with accounting and operational teams
  • Prepare and maintain invoice documentation and audit support records
  • Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances
  • Review daily deposits and reconcile banking activity
  • Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting
  • Assist with financial reporting and analysis
  • Identify opportunities to improve billing accuracy and operational efficiency
  • Maintain compliance with accounting policies and financial procedures Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of accounting, billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, or financial operations experience
  • Strong understanding of account reconciliations and financial processes
  • Experience with client billing, contract billing, invoicing, or revenue operations preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
