The MAC has been thriving since 1903 and remains committed to the vision of the original founders: "to be the premier athletic, social and dining club for business, professional and civic leaders and their families in the Saint Louis area." We are currently seeking a full-time AccountingSpecial Projects Administrator to join our team at our Downtown location. Responsibilities Manage member billing, including posting charges, processing payments, preparing statements, and maintaining accurate account records. Monitor and follow up on delinquent accounts, including notifying management and issuing delinquency notices. Respond to member billing inquiries and coordinate resolution of disputes with appropriate departments. Audit and reconcile revenue from point-of-sale systems, credit card transactions, banquets, events, and tournaments. Prepare and reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly receivable deposits and financial reports. Process member account changes, transfers, inter-club billing, credit books, and gift certificates. Prepare tip reports for accounts payable and maintain required documentation, including certificates of insurance. Support special projects and participate in cross-training and additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree). Experience in or exposure to the private club industry preferred. Strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Demonstrated business ethics and strong critical thinking skills. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and reference verification.
