Job Description:
The Accounting Supervisor oversees daily accounting operations while leading and mentoring a team of three accounting professionals. Working closely with the Controller, this role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, managing credit card expense reporting and reconciliations, and coordinating cross-market cost allocations, including insurance and management fees. The position also serves as a backup for Payroll, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable functions and prepares financial reports, analyzes variances, and provides ongoing support to management. The ideal candidate has at least two years of accounting experience, a strong understanding of accounting principles, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables. Experience with accounting software is required, with Microsoft Dynamics preferred. Candidates must possess strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and reliable transportation are required.
