Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Office Coordinator with accounting skills to join our team. This dual-role position requires a blend of administrative support and accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will provide efficient office management, support daily operations, and handle essential accounting functions to ensure smooth organizational operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Duties:
Perform general office tasks such as answering phones, managing emails, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings as needed. Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations. Maintain organized filing systems and handle document management. Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed. Assist with travel arrangements and expense reports as needed. Provide support to other team members and departments as required.Accounting Duties:
Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely transactions. Reconcile bank statements and track expenses to maintain financial accuracy. Monitor 3rd Party sales tax reports and remittances. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role, with a focus on accounting tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage). Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Experience with office management and bookkeeping is a plus.Working Conditions:
