Our employees are an integral part of who we are — what you do and what you think matters SUMMARY The Accounting Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the accounting department. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Partner with plant operations and accounting teams to develop systems, processes, and reporting to help drive continuous improvement in all areas of the facility. Provide ad-hoc review and analysis of revenue and expenses ensuring compliance and accuracy of our AR & AP systems. Maintain integrity of plant general ledger in regard to GAAP, including capitalization of fixed assets. Responsible for the monthly financial close and reporting cycle, including variance analysis. Responsible for invoicing processes and completing the monthly Market Administrator (MA) report for the plant. Serve as a "hands on" leader, gaining a detailed understanding of the operation to best provide support to the facility through impactful and relevant reporting and forecasts. Develop and mentor staff with a focus on growth and process engagement. Assist with the development and maintenance of performance metrics, forecasts, and costing systems. Desire and ability to learn the operational process; going beyond the strictly financial functions to understand from an operations perspective the root cause. Work closely with the accounting team on development and standardization of processes and procedures. Other duties as assigned.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
At least a bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or relevant certification preferred. MBA preferred. At least 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles. Track record of progressive responsibility and leadership preferred. Experience in a manufacturing accounting setting preferred. At least 3 years of experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting processes. At least 3 years of experience with accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus. Experience with SAP preferred. At least 3 years of experience with compliance requirements. At least 3 years of experience with financial analysis and budgeting. At least 3 years of experience supervising a team.
