Our client is one of the largest global producers of products in their niche. They are a multi-billion-dollar organization that services a vast network of industries with 10k+ products!
Job Description Accounting Supervisor Responsibilities:
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules. Lead month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies. Prepare and record journal entries, accruals, and adjustments. Maintain and analyze standard costs, labor costs, overhead allocations, and variances. Perform detailed variance analysis related to production, labor, materials, and inventory. Support annual standard cost updates and inventory valuation processes. Partner with operations and plant management to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability. Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts. Analyze operating results and prepare management reports highlighting key trends and variances.
