Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day support for operational accounting, treasury, intercompany, and tax reporting requirements of the Company's U.S. entity. Ensure timely completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close functions in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP). Coach team members through the application ofU.S. GAAP.
Oversee the coordination of U.S. team's deliverables during the annual financial statement compilation and tax return preparation with external accountants. Lead review of internal control framework and implement improvements where needed. Develop documentation to ensure consistent performance of the department's duties. Help the team identify opportunities for process improvements and take an active role in implementation. Collaborate with Global Finance team members and cross-functional departments on various accounting, reporting, and other business initiatives. A bachelor's degree in accounting is required. Master's degree and CPA are preferred. 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or a similar work environment, including 2+ years of leadership experience. Accounting experience in a manufacturing company setting is desired. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Detail-oriented and organized. Demonstrated ability to develop team members. Proficiency across Microsoft Office and Excel. Compensation for this position consists of a salary range of $100,000- 130,000, depending on experience, plus participation in a quarterly variable wage program that is based on company and employee performance, which adds significantly to total compensation.
