The Role The Accounting Supervisor plays a key leadership role in supporting the monthly close process while overseeing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions. This position ensures accuracy, efficiency, and consistency across day‑to‑day accounting operations while contributing to a collaborative and high‑performing team environment.

This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast‑growing, diversified organization and brings both strong technical expertise and a forward‑thinking leadership mindset. The Accounting Supervisor reports directly to the Controller and is based at our headquarters in Bryan, Texas (Briarcrest & Highway 6). What You'll Do Leadership & Team Development Foster a respectful, solutions‑focused team environment where employees feel supported and valued Reinforce and contribute to a positive, team‑oriented culture Lead Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, with future oversight of Costing and Credit Champion and maintain cross‑training initiatives to support employee development and operational continuity Anticipate team needs and proactively address challenges to support individual and team success Identify opportunities for process improvement and partner with leadership to implement enhancements Accounting Operations Perform bank and credit card reconciliations accurately and in a timely manner Support the monthly close process, including account reconciliations and journal entries Manage and submit sales tax filings and payments Maintain fixed asset records and complete property tax renditions Ensure timely and accurate federal and state tax payments Support internal and external audit processes Assist with additional accounting and operational responsibilities as needed Who You Are Education & Experience 2+ years of experience leading or supervising accounting functions (required) 2+ years of hands‑on accounting experience, including General Ledger responsibilities (preferred) Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (preferred) Skills & Competencies Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and support team members Advanced analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities Highly detail‑oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines and follow through on commitments Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with ERP accounting systems (NetSuite strongly preferred) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivot tables, etc.) Why You'll Love Working Here Competitive salary range of $50,000
