  • _What Financial Planning & Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health_
  • Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.

Financial Planning & Analysis provides strategic partnership and objective guidance to business units. It leads cross functional efforts to enable forward looking, actionable insights with a focus on driving strategic value that influences key business decisions.

  • _Job Summary_
  • The Supervisor, Cost Accounting is responsible for cost and inventory accounting for Plant 7.

Key responsibilities include supporting and coordinating SOX audits, CAH Internal Audits, and Ernst & Young (E&Y) audits for U.S. and Singapore company codes of Presource Juarez business. The role also oversees the Sterilization and Freight processes, including activity tracking, financial analysis, reserve calculations, month-end activities, budgeting, and forecasting. In addition, this position provides accounting support for the Don Haskins manufacturing facilities, Greenway and Butterfield warehouses.

  • _Responsibilities_
  • + Manage cost and inventory accounting activities for Plant 7.

+ Support month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.

+ Prepare budgets, forecasts, variance analyses, and reserve calculations.

+ Oversee accounting for Sterilization and Short-Haul Freight processes.

+ Coordinate and support

SOX, CAH

Internal, E&Y, U.S., and Singapore audits.

+ Provide auditors with accurate and timely information and documentation.

+ Serve as the primary audit contact for the Juarez site.

+ Support Don Haskins, Butterfield, and Greenway manufacturing and warehouse operations.

+ Perform headcount analysis, ad hoc reporting, and special financial projects.
