Job Description

Position Overview:
The Administrative Assistant (Accounting & Finance) will be responsible for providing support to the Accounting and Finance department with data entry, data management, and general administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and proactive individual and will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate financial processing by coordinating with internal stakeholders and maintaining organized financial records.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial records (primarily using excel and Sage 300) Support the accounting team with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks Follow up with internal departments to collect required documentation and information for timely processing Help manage and reconcile credit card transactions Ensure accuracy and completeness of timely processing Perform other duties as assigned by the accounting team
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required; some college level courses, or AA degree preferred Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and other standard office software Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills Excellent communication and follow-up abilities Familiarity with credit card and expense management processes Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Pre-employment background checks will be required
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer; Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
