(BDC) is a civil engineering and land surveying firm based in Bingen, Washington, in the Columbia River Gorge, serving both public and private sector clients. Since 1994, BDC has focused on delivering accurate, high-quality services including road design, water and sewer system modeling and design, structural analysis, land surveying, construction inspection, and contract administration. Role Description The Accounting Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Bingen, WA, responsible for supporting day-to-day financial operations. This role includes processing accounts payable and receivable, preparing and reconciling invoices, assisting with payroll entries, and maintaining accurate financial records. The Accounting Administrator will help prepare and review basic financial reports, track project-related billing, and support budget monitoring for ongoing engineering and surveying projects. The role also involves coordinating with project managers and leadership on finance-related questions, responding to vendor and client inquiries, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and established accounting procedures. Qualifications Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for reviewing transactions and reconciling accounts. Knowledge of accounting principles and experience working with financial statements and general ledgers. Background in finance or accounting, including familiarity with budgeting, invoicing, and payroll processes. Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, and vendors. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word). Relevant education such as an associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Ability to work on-site in Bingen, WA, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a small-team environment. Prior experience in professional services, engineering, or construction-related industries is beneficial.
