Job Description:
Accounting Manager We are partnering with a growing operations-focused organization seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting activities and lead a small team within a fast-paced environment. This individual will play a key role in supporting financial operations, improving processes, and ensuring accuracy across accounting functions Key Responsibilities Lead and support a small accounting team, including workload management, coaching, training, and day-to-day oversight Oversee general accounting activities, including account reconciliations, transaction review, and financial record maintenance Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting Review financial transactions and account activity to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies Prepare and review financial reports related to cash flow, aging, account reconciliations, and operational performance Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams to support business initiatives, financial analysis, and process improvements Support internal and external audit activities and ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, strengthen accounting processes, and enhance reporting capabilities Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 3+ years of progressive accounting experience required Previous leadership, supervisory, or team management experience preferred Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls Experience utilizing ERP systems and advanced Excel skills in a high-volume environment Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Additional Information Hands-on leadership role with visibility across the organization Opportunity to influence accounting processes and support operational growth Collaborative, team-oriented culture Opportunity for professional growth and increased responsibility
