Job Description

AR Supervisor (Medical Billing) (223790-14) A local healthcare company is seeking an AR Supervisor who is responsible for overseeing daily AR operations and leading a team of approximately 10 staff in a fast‑paced healthcare billing environment. This role ensures timely and accurate billing, invoicing, and collections, while resolving payment issues and supporting overall revenue cycle performance. The AR Supervisor works directly with the Senior VP of Operations, acting as a key leadership resource and stepping in when needed. Candidates should have strong knowledge of medical accounts receivable, excellent communication skills, and the ability to guide a team toward accuracy, efficiency, and consistent results. Hours Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm Location Honolulu, Oahu Pay $60,000 to $64,000 a year Responsibilities Supervise and support the AR team to ensure accuracy and productivity. Oversee billing, invoicing, payment posting, and collections. Resolve billing issues by coordinating with internal departments. Develop and maintain AR, credit, and collection processes. Monitor AR aging and prepare regular reports for leadership. Assist leadership with department oversight when needed. Qualifications Previous supervisory experience required. Experience in medical accounts receiveable. Strong understanding of medical accounts receivable. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. Ability to lead a team in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency in AR systems and Microsoft Office.
