Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Accounts Receivable and Billing Manager to oversee customer billing processes, revenue recognition, and collections in Omaha, Nebraska. This role is vital to ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions, maintaining strong customer relationships, and driving timely cash collection. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounts receivable functions and thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage high-volume customer billing processes with precision and ensure timely revenue recognition.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and proactively follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely payments.
  • Partner with sales and accounting teams to resolve billing discrepancies and improve collection strategies.
  • Validate sales tax jurisdictions and rates for taxable transactions to ensure compliance.
  • Prepare and reconcile accounts receivable subledger to the general ledger during month-end close processes.
  • Perform daily cash application tasks, ensuring payments are accurately and promptly applied to customer accounts.
  • Administer customer master data with a focus on accuracy, including credit checks and data maintenance.
  • File project liens as required, ensuring compliance with state-specific lien management processes.
  • Investigate and resolve unapplied or misapplied cash to maintain clean financial records.
  • Review profit margins and percentages on customer billings to confirm accuracy and alignment with company standards.
