Job Description
This is an onsite/hybrid role based out of the Doral, Florida office where you will work onsite 3-5 days per week based on Manager approval and business needs.
Shift:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM EST - 4:30 PM EST What Customer Service Management contributes to Cardinal Health Customer Service Management contributes by establishing, maintaining and enhancing customer business through contract administration, customer orders, and problem resolution. Customer Service Management contributes by providing strategic oversight and leadership direction within the Customer Service function. Responsibilities Supervise the Accounts Receivable Team (about 27-30 FTE's) Possess strong work ethic, self-motivated and able to make sound business decisions. Supervises an accounts receivable team responsible for resolving rejected and denied medical insurance claims through follow‑up, appeals, and claim correction. Capable of adapting to change and able to influence team in an evolving environment. The team is responsible for interfacing with insurance companies to resolve any outstanding issues by filing appeals, refiling claims or any other steps needed to make sure that we are paid for the services/products provided. Drive achievement of financial objectives through timely and proper payment collection of accounts receivable and resolution of credit balances Mentor and coach employees with focus on performance management and professional development Collaborate with employees to identify and implement process improvements Perform quality audits to ensure standards are met and initiative corrective actions as needed Develop and execute communication plan to that includes regularly scheduled meetings and daily communication with all work sites. Act as an effective supervisor with a positive attitude. Work through team conflict with solutions and creative ideas. Build a strong team relationship by helping, understanding and motivating your team. Assist in projects as needed. Assist with hiring and retaining qualified employees to maintain appropriate staffing levels. Complete performance evaluations for employees as assigned in accordance with company policy. Evaluate staff training needs and make recommendations to Billing Manager. Schedule department personnel for vacation, time off, etc. Qualifications 2-3 years of experience in related field, preferred Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred Prior medical billing experience preferred Lead or supervisory management experience preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Able to work in and adapt to a fast-paced environment What is expected of you and others at this level Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of operations or business staff Administers and exercises policies and procedures Ensures employees operate within guidelines Decisions have a direct impact to work unit operations and customers Frequently interacts with subordinates, customers, and peer groups at various management levels Interactions normally involve information exchange and basic problem resolution Anticipated salary range: $67,500 - $86,670 Bonus eligible:No Benefits:
