About Us Island Tree Investments LLC is a high-volume real estate investment company based in Bluffton, SC. We buy, sell, develop, and finance real estate across the Lowcountry and Southeast Georgia — including single-family homes, mobile home development, land, and more. We've closed 300+ acquisitions over the last 3 years, and we move fast. We're looking for a financial backbone to keep our money organized as we grow. The Role You will own the day-to-day financial operations of the company. This is not a data-entry-only position — you'll be the person who knows where every dollar is, where it came from, and where it's going.
Your responsibilities will include:
Tracking all incoming and outgoing funds across multiple entities and bank accounts Recording and reconciling real estate transactions (purchases, sales, closings, earnest money, wire transfers, HUD/settlement statements) Managing accounts payable — processing and paying vendors, contractors, and subcontractors on schedule Managing accounts receivable — tracking payments due to the company and following up on outstanding balances Preparing and submitting loan documents and financial packages to lenders Full-cycle bookkeeping in
QuickBooks:
categorizing transactions, reconciling accounts, keeping clean books month over month Supporting the owner with financial reports, project cost tracking, and other finance-related tasks as needed Who We're Looking For QuickBooks expert — non-negotiable. You must be 100% comfortable logging and transacting all accounting in QuickBooks. This is the core of the job. Real estate transaction experience — required. You understand how real estate purchases and sales flow through the books: closing statements, escrow, loan payoffs, transfer of funds.
Strong bookkeeping fundamentals:
AP, AR, reconciliations, and clean record-keeping Highly organized and detail-obsessed — nothing slips through the cracks on your watch Comfortable working with lenders, title companies, and vendors Trustworthy, discreet, and reliable — you'll be handling sensitive financial information daily Self-starter who can manage their own workload in a fast-moving environment
Details Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday, in office

Pay:
$50,893.46 - $65,291.05 per year
