Job Description

At the YMCA, we strengthen communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Accounts Receivable & Collections Manager supports this mission by ensuring strong, efficient revenue processes that enable access to programs and services. This position leads collections for membership, childcare, and program receivables, with a focus on resolving declined credit card transactions, ACH/bank draft returns, and chargebacks. Managing a team of six, this role is responsible for improving cash collections, reducing delinquency, and enhancing the member experience through process improvement and automation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience 7+ years of experience in accounts receivable and/or collections. 5+ years of experience managing or supervising a team. Experience with recurring billing environments (e.g., memberships, tuition, subscription services). Hands-on experience with credit card and ACH/bank draft processing and rejections.
