- Payroll & Accounts Payable plays a key leadership role within our Accounting team, leading critical financial operations that support the people and operations powering our cooperative. As the Supervisor
- Payroll & Accounts Payable , you will oversee payroll, accounts payable, and cash management functions to ensure the accurate and timely processing of employee compensation and vendor payments while safeguarding the financial assets of the cooperative.
- Lead, coach, and provide direction to employees and work teams to promote safety, productivity, collaboration, and effective performance.
- Collaborate with leadership to establish departmental goals aligned with Brazos Electric's strategic plan and monitor progress.
- Set performance expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and conduct performance evaluations using established management processes.
- Recommend staffing needs and organizational structure, and partner with HR in recruitment, hiring, and compensation decisions.
- Support employee development through career planning, training coordination, and skill development initiatives.
- Promote a positive and professional work environment by addressing employee concerns, facilitating conflict resolution, and consistently applying company policies.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and encourage continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
- Reinforce a strong culture of safety and compliance with Brazos Electric's safety program.
