The Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort is looking for an income auditor to join the team. This is an on-site position. Nestled on California's Central Coastline, just steps from pristine beaches, the property celebrates Santa Barbara's culture and history across its 24-acre resort, featuring 360 spacious rooms and 60,000 sq. ft. of meeting space. Our ideal candidate has one year of customer service experience, knows basic Excel functions, can multitask, is organized, detail oriented and proactive and has a great desire to learn and grow with the company. Hilton experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
Shift Pattern :
Monday through Friday morning shifts, with weekend availability when needed. Here's what you'll do during a typical day: Ensure accurate financial records: Balance and code the previous day's transactions, preparing daily operating sales and labor summaries Verify and audit transactions: Review night audit reports, ensure sales journal accuracy, and analyze all adjustments Reconcile banquet revenue: Audit banquet tickets and match them with banquet orders to ensure proper billing Monitor financial adjustments: Track and route rebates, miscellaneous charges, promotional tickets, and paid outs Maintain recordkeeping: File and archive financial documents in compliance with tax authority requirements Collaborate for success: Assist team members and other departments as needed What It Takes to Make the Stay At Hilton, our core values define what it takes to succeed here and guide the qualities we look for in every team member: A passion for spreading the light and warmth of Hospitality .
