Why You Should Apply $80,000 to $100,000 base salary 4 weeks of PTO starting day one Excellent benefits including strong healthcare coverage, 401(k) match, and employee stock purchase opportunities Downtown Denver location with paid parking High visibility role with exposure across a global organization Opportunity to expand beyond traditional audit into operations, analytics, and process improvement Support for continued professional growth and pursuing your CPA or CIA Growing audit team with room to take on significantly more responsibility over time What You'll Be Doing as an Internal Auditor Support financial, operational, and compliance audits across the organization Perform SOX and internal control testing and maintain clear audit documentation Evaluate processes, identify potential risks, and recommend practical improvements Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, exceptions, and areas requiring further review Partner with Accounting, Finance, Operations, Technology, and other teams throughout the business Assist with audit reporting and communicate findings to management Participate in process improvement, automation, and data analytics initiatives Gain exposure to global operations through periodic domestic and international travel What You Bring as an Internal Auditor Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2+ years of audit experience Public accounting experience strongly preferred Solid understanding of audit methodology, internal controls, SOX, and GAAP Energy industry experience is a plus Experience working with a large or complex organization is highly valued Strong Excel skills and an interest in data analytics and technology Power BI, SAP, ACL, or similar systems experience is a plus CPA, CIA, or interest in pursuing a professional certification is highly valued Curious, proactive personality with the confidence to ask questions and dig into how a business operates
