Coding Auditor Position Requirements Education Bachelor's Degree with a focus in Health Information Management is preferred Required License and/or Certification CCS Certification through American Health Information Management Association is required. Experience Five (5) years inpatient coding and/or inpatient auditing experience is required. Three (3) years of outpatient coding and/or outpatient auditing is required. Experience with the EPIC Electronic Health Record and the 3m 360 Computer Assisted Coding program required. Coding Auditor Work Schedule Day Shift, Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend work as needed. Expected to be available in emergency situations.
