This firm does not. They are a long established CPA firm in Fort Myers with just under fifty people and six partners, several of whom came from Big 8 backgrounds. The expectations around quality are high, but the environment is calm, stable and properly managed. This is a fully onsite role, so you would need to live within commutable distance of Fort Myers.

As an Audit Senior, you will take ownership of engagements, lead fieldwork, review the work of junior staff and work directly with Managers and Partners. You will also have meaningful client interaction and help guide Associates through engagements rather than just being treated as a production machine. One thing that stands out about this firm is that they genuinely protect people from burnout. Audit work is scheduled realistically and outside of occasional travel days, late nights and weekends are not built into the culture. They are looking for someone with around 3 to 5 years of external audit experience within a US CPA firm environment. CPA or active CPA track preferred. This could suit someone currently at a larger regional or national firm who enjoys audit but no longer wants their entire life dictated by busy season.
