Audit Manager - CPA Firm (Full-Time)

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is a motivated accounting professional with strong audit experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead audit engagements while providing high-quality service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee audit, review, and compilation engagements from planning through completion. Develop audit strategies, prepare engagement timelines, and ensure engagements are completed efficiently and accurately. Review financial statements, workpapers, and audit documentation for compliance with professional standards. Identify accounting and internal control issues and provide recommendations to clients. Supervise, mentor, and review the work of senior and staff accountants. Communicate directly with clients to gather information, resolve issues, and provide guidance. Assist with complex accounting matters and research as needed. Ensure compliance with GAAP, GAAS, and firm quality control standards. Participate in client meetings and maintain strong client relationships. Assist with staff development, training, and process improvements within the audit department.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required. CPA license preferred (or actively pursuing CPA certification). 5+ years of public accounting audit experience. Strong knowledge of audit procedures, financial statement preparation, and accounting principles. Experience managing multiple client engagements and meeting deadlines. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting/audit software.
