Strong Yellow Book/GAGAS experience and success growing business through referrals are highly valued. Must be a full-cycle auditor capable of taking engagements from planning through final issuance—not a specialist focused on one audit area. This is a hands-on role for someone willing to stay in the trenches. Qualifications Active Florida CPA or actively pursuing licensure 7-10+ years of public accounting assurance experience Proven high-volume engagement management experience Full-cycle audit experience from planning through issuance Willingness to remain hands-on and work in the trenches alongside the audit team Demonstrated business development, referral, networking, and client growth success Strong audit, internal control, risk assessment, compliance, and GAGAS/Yellow Book expertise Excellent client communication and leadership skills Key Responsibilities Plan, direct, and review multiple concurrent engagements from beginning to end hands-on Oversee risk assessments, testing, controls, workpapers, and final reports Ensure GAGAS/Yellow Book and regulatory compliance Evaluate fraud, waste, and abuse controls Oversee specialized compliance engagements, including FEFP audits Manage budgets, staffing, deadlines, and profitability Serve as key client contact and resolve complex issues Develop new business through referrals, networking, proposals, and relationships Mentoring Ideal for a seasoned, hands-on assurance leader who can manage a substantial portfolio, take audits from start to finish, grow client relationships, and still roll up their sleeves when needed.
