Safety & Compliance Auditor

Title:

Safety & Compliance Auditor Reports to: Global Compliance Supervisor Job summary The safety & Compliance Auditor is responsible for assisting with all aspects of safety & compliance administration. The candidate is able to execute and complete assigned tasks to verify, correct, resolve, or improve as directed by the Global Compliance Manager. Summary of essential job functions

• Audit PPE compliance of facility per implemented policies
• Audit the safety and environmental policies per local or OSHA standards (SDS, LOTO, etc..)
• Assist/perform a Risk assessment of various functions and processes.
• Attend /organize Monthly safety meetings and upkeep of the meeting minutes and follow-ups
• Audit various processes per documented process flow
• Assist with

ISO 9000

audits,5S and lean manufacturing implementation

• Collects Safety investigation data, prepare reports and communicate with teams
• Perform other duties as requested. Preferred requirements
• High school diploma with previous Safety or Compliance experience
• Knowledge of auditing practices.
• Familiarity with Safety and Compliance standards such as

OSHA,ISO

9001,etc..

• Must have access to reliable transportation
• Good verbal, Non- verbal, listening and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good documentation, record keeping, and data collection skills - attention to detail.
• Self-motivated team player and great interaction with others Essential and Physical requirements
• Communication - the ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and regularly with team members.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• May work overtime or weekends
• Must be able to use computer software such as Google docs and spreadsheets
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs., stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to wear safety shoes ( ESD, Composite toe)
• Ability to bend at the waist, kneel and stoop.
