Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Public Audit Manager, CPA, to lead our audit team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of public accounting, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all phases of the audit process for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of audit professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for audit-related matters. Review and evaluate audit workpapers, financial statements, and reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards. Identify and address potential risks and opportunities for process improvements, providing valuable insights and recommendations to clients and firm leadership. Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices, ensuring the firm's audit practices remain at the forefront of the profession. Collaborate with other departments and service lines within the firm to deliver comprehensive and integrated solutions to clients.

Qualifications:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of public accounting experience, with a focus on audit. Proven experience in managing audit engagements and leading audit teams. Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
