Shipping Auditor - 1st Shift - $18 an hour East Moline, Illinois 7am-3:30pm Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Auditor to support our Shipping and Receiving operations. In this role, you will be responsible for auditing incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation. This position plays a critical role in maintaining quality standards and ensuring orders are prepared and shipped correctly. Key Responsibilities Verify all incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation Conduct visual inspections of orders to ensure compliance with specifications, labeling, and packaging standards Audit shipping and receiving processes to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures Accurately enter shipment data, inventory movements, and audit findings into systems Use Microsoft Office and internal systems to document audits and generate reports Operate RF scanners to track, verify, and update inventory and shipment information Assist with material handling, packaging, and general warehouse tasks as needed Investigate and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with team members Maintain organized records and ensure high attention to detail in all tasks Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe work environment Required Skills & Qualifications Experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics environment Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications Experience using RF scanners for inventory or order tracking Excellent attention to detail when inspecting orders, labels, and documentation Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Prior experience auditing shipping and receiving processes Experience in inventory control or material handling Familiarity with packaging standards and shipping documentation Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment Ability to work effectively within a small team setting Why Join Our Team?
