$ 75,000.00 | Full - Time | Deerfield, IL We have partnered with a large nonprofit CPA firm in Deerfield, IL to provide them with an Audit Senior. Please review the description below and let us know if you are interested. Prioritized Must Have Skills for the
Audit Senior:
#1. Minimum 3+ years of audit experience within a public accounting environment #2. Direct nonprofit audit experience required #3. Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting and financial reporting requirements #4. Experience with GAAP, audit procedures, internal controls, and financial statement preparation #5. Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and competing priorities simultaneously #6. Bachelors Degree in Accouting or FInance #7. CPA certification or very close to a CPA Responsibilities of the
Audit Senior:
Manage and execute multiple audit engagements simultaneously Build strong relationships with clients and serve as a trusted advisor Develop engagement timelines, budgets, and project plans Research and resolve technical audit and accounting issues Review and prepare financial statements and related disclosures Support engagement administration and audit procedures Assist with business development efforts and client growth initiatives Supervise, train, and mentor junior audit staff Maintain high-quality standards and ensure engagement completion within deadlines Requirements of the
Audit Senior:
CPA certification or active CPA track preferred Experience with Form 990 preparation and review Single audit experience preferred ERISA audit experience considered a plus Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting Experience with QuickBooks and audit engagement software platforms
