Summary Are you passionate about food safety, quality systems, and continuous improvement? We are seeking a 2nd Shift Quality Auditor to play a critical role in ensuring compliance with regulatory, customer, and company standards while helping strengthen quality programs across our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will independently conduct audits, analyze quality data, investigate nonconformances, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sustainable improvements. How YOU Will Contribute Takes ownership of audits and follows issues through closure. Holds self and others accountable for meeting food safety and quality requirements. Understands the impact that quality decisions have on customers and consumers. Approaches audits and investigations with food safety and product quality as top priorities. Establishes credibility and trust across departments. Provides audit feedback in a constructive and collaborative manner. Partners effectively with operations, maintenance, sanitation, and leadership teams. Shares knowledge and best practices with colleagues. Encourages accountability and continuous improvement. Challenges existing processes to improve effectiveness. Uses data and observations to recommend innovative solutions. Demonstrates deep understanding of quality standards. About YOU Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Biology, Microbiology, or a related discipline preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of three years of experience in a related food manufacturing or quality environment may be considered. 2-5 years of quality assurance, food safety, auditing, or manufacturing experience preferred. Experience conducting internal, customer, regulatory, or certification audits. SQF Certified preferred. Internal Auditor Certification preferred? HACCP or HARPC Certification required. Working knowledge of Safe Quality Food (SQF) Codes. Proven knowledge of GMPs, SOPs, SSOPs, and Manufacturing Operating Procedures. Experience performing customer and regulatory audits. Knowledge of Non-GMO, Gluten-Free, Organic programs, and applicable regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with IFS, SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite, and quality management systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Willing to work M-F 1:30pm-10pm. Travel Up to 5% local and overnight travel may be required. Why Join Us? Pay:
$55,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
