Job Description
Job Summary Who We Are North American Lighting Inc., member of the Koito Group of Companies, is the largest tier one automotive exterior lighting manufacturer in North America. As the market share leader in exterior automotive lighting, NAL provides advanced lighting technology, engineering design expertise, and state-of-the-art production capabilities to auto makers based in North America and around the world. Our Opportunity North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Quality Auditor - I to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform quality control inspections of finished parts for compliance with quality standards and product specifications. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Your Priorities Ensures products conforms to engineering drawings, customer specification sheets, sales orders, Bill of Materials (BOM), engineering changes and deviations, and customer change requests. Inspects products for cosmetic defects, assembly errors, proper labeling, and workmanship standards. Ensures processes conform to approved procedures and industry standards. Follows written instructions when reinspecting non-conforming material. Gathers information, compiles data, and produces reports to monitor performance of production line, as required. Performs dimensional inspection of components using standard measuring tools (i.e.: micrometers, calipers, etc.), as required. $22.56 an hour Requirements Your Background High School Diploma or GED, plus 1 to 3 years of experience in a related manufacturing and/or auditing position. Knowledge of Statistical Process Control ― SPC, and Technical skills — proficiency using precision measuring equipment is preferred.
