3rd shifty Quality Auditor

The Quality Assurance Technician (Quality Auditor) collects sample metal packaging finished products, components and raw materials and tests/inspects at various stages of the production processes. Compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. Follows inspection/test requirements in accordance with quality system standard operating procedures to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards. Completes quality records, reports, logs and notes on samples, tests, production records, etc. Uses knowledge of

ISO 9001

requirements while completing all records, test methods and other tasks.

Responsibilities:

Work with little to no supervision Always work in a safe manner and wear proper PPE Bring any unsafe condition to Shift Supervisor's attention Able to recognize can defects and understand the importance of good quality Performs quality assurance testing as required to ensure products meet internal and customer specifications Perform additional testing as required by Quality Manager or supervisory personnel Review production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities and specifications of metal containers to coordinate department operations Properly fill out all required paperwork Ensure priorities and sequences for manufacturing products are followed Seeks to identify methods for improving SOP's and other working practices Observes production operators and production equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards and operating efficiency. Communicates the results of any testing that pertains to non-conforming product to Shift Supervisor, Quality Manager and/or General Manager Assist other production or quality areas as needed and complete other duties as assigned

Pay:

$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
