Job Description

Job Title:
Internal Auditor II Summary of Duties:
As an Internal Auditor II , you will work alongside internal departments and external stakeholders to protect the interests of German American Bank customers, employees, and stockholders.
What You'll Do:
Day in the Life - Every day you will assist in the risk mitigation process by walking through processes with stakeholders, identifying and testing controls, and communicating results to business leaders. In addition, you will research regulatory, Sarbanes Oxley, and best practices to design new audit projects and take lead on specialized and complex audit projects. What it Takes - To thrive in this role, you must have experience as an auditor, be resourceful, results oriented, and self-motivated. You have a demonstrated ability to plan and organize, ask probing questions, receive and share feedback, and communicate clearly. Candidates for this role must have a Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related area or a minimum of five years' banking experience. This role requires commitment to ongoing learning, including obtaining industry specific certification throughout your career.
