Senior Audit Manager Manhattan, KS Must-Haves 5+ years of public accounting and audit experience Strong background in financial statement audits and attest engagements Experience supervising, mentoring, and reviewing audit staff Solid knowledge of auditing regulations, standards, and compliance requirements Strong client relationship and communication skills Proven ability to manage multiple engagements, budgets, and deadlines Leadership experience in audit planning, execution, and reporting Senior Audit Manager We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Audit Manager to join a growing public accounting firm in Manhattan, Kansas. This leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee complex attest engagements, lead audit teams, and work closely with executive leadership and clients across a variety of industries. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious audit professional looking for long-term growth, leadership responsibility, and strong client interaction within a collaborative and service-focused environment. No overnight travel is required. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage financial statement audits and attest engagements from planning through completion Oversee engagement timelines, budgets, staffing, and deliverables Supervise and review audit planning, fieldwork, and final reporting Review financial statements, audit workpapers, and engagement documentation for accuracy and compliance Train, mentor, and evaluate audit staff while fostering professional development Analyze financial data, records, reports, and internal controls Identify areas of business risk and provide strategic recommendations to clients Maintain strong client relationships through ongoing communication and high-quality service Collaborate with firm leadership and operational teams to ensure successful engagement execution Manage multiple client engagements while maintaining quality and efficiency standards What We're Looking For Strong technical auditing and accounting knowledge Excellent leadership, organizational, and project management skills Ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff, and executive leadership Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Commitment to delivering exceptional client service Ability to thrive in a fast-paced public accounting environment Why Join This Firm?
